I believe observation is an underrated superpower. Whether it’s watching how people navigate everyday routines or listening for what’s left unsaid, I spend time absorbing before I act. This early phase is where I find meaning. By stepping into user's shoes, identifying unmet needs, and understanding context beyond the surface, I begin with empathy, not assumptions. I’ve seen this mindset unlock better outcomes across startups, enterprise teams, and emerging tech.
In this phase, I connect the dots. Sometimes those dots are user frustrations. Sometimes they’re half-formed thoughts from a conversation. And sometimes, they come from unexpected places (a sci-fi film, a walk outside, or a sketch on a napkin). I don’t believe in perfect ideas. I believe in courageous ones, ones that are grounded, imaginative, and ready to be tested.
I build early and often. Prototyping helps me visualize intent, simulate behavior, and explore what feels right, from UX flows in Figma to SwiftUI code in Xcode. Testing reveals not just what works, but why it works (or doesn’t). This is where I invite feedback, listen deeply, and refine thoughtfully. It’s less about polishing and more about learning - quickly, honestly, and with an open mind.
I’m a firm believer that design extends beyond the mockup. I work closely with engineers, stakeholders, and users to bring ideas to life — ensuring what we ship reflects our intent and vision. But launch isn’t the end. I treat every release as the beginning of a new feedback loop. Iterating isn’t just about improvement — it’s about alignment. Alignment with people, with purpose, and with a better future.
